  Dear Friends,

      It is seldom that I write with as much serious intent as I am about to write. And if you know me at all, you know that I am not the bearer of bad news, nor do I use fear, exaggeration, or any negative energy to motivate either myself or others in any direction or to any action. This letter will be direct and to the point and as short as I can make it and still communicate accurately and fully. There is no time to waste on words.

      During the Awaken the Sleeping Giant campaign (www.AwakenSleepingGiant.org) last year and the year before, I received emails from various sources regarding possible destructive activities that would take place in America. Some went so far as to say specifically that this or that would happen, including where. I responded to none. First, I had been told by Jesus to only issue forth love, to stay completely away from negative energy and to only visualize positive, hopeful, healing energies. Secondly, I was also told to stay above politics and to focus on every citizen for healing and protection in our country and in the world.  Thirdly, when I checked out the sources of the prophesied event(s) I either did not find enough factual information or did not discern spiritually that what was said would happen, would happen. I stayed the course in the direction of what I was instructed to do. In each case, what I was told would happen did not happen. End of story. During a time like this, all kinds of people come forth and try to add their two cents worth to the mix of all that is happening. It is a time to be concerned yes but also cautious regarding sources and predicted events.

      I have received yet another email several days ago, not the first, nor the last from a source I only knew of indirectly. He is not at all connected to my work. I had been receiving this person’s emails for over a year. Most I read and some I did not read due to lack of time or I was not impressed to read them. Mind you, the person I am speaking of has a high level of accuracy in his predictions. He predicted Katrina, the storms and flooding in the Northeast last year, Hispanics marching in the streets before live television, earthquakes and so on. This does not make him God nor does it mean that everything that he utters or writes is 100% true or accurate. I know of no human being on earth who can do that. Only God has such awareness. However, his latest prognostication has caused me to be seriously concerned.

      Without more details, his prediction portends events that, if true, need our immediate concern and attention. I spent several hours communicating with this man several days ago to discern the reasonableness and authenticity of his predictions. He believes in his prophecy 100% because of his past accurate record as mentioned above. Am I concerned? Yes. Am I 100% convinced? No.

      I have been, however, disturbed to the point that I am not willing to wait to see what happens. Rather, I am through my contacts, like you, taking positive, immediate action to help thwart—as best as I know how, through individual and united prayer—the possibility of any destructive event as happened on 9/11 on American soil now or in the immediate or distant future. Additionally, because this information coincides with our government’s recent warning that there may be some terrorist attack on America in the month of August, 2007, I am also moved to send out this letter.

      In sending out such a letter I run the risk of some people’s ire. However, from my former experiences with 9/11 and two decades of solid experience in this field of mediumship and prophecy, I will not sit idle and do nothing waiting to see what happens or become paralyzed with fear. I am well aware of how many warnings have been given regarding terrorist’s attacks on America and how many did not pan out. I am not naïve or an uninformed medium. However, I cannot as a praying, concerned, American-loving- person respond with indifference to any such potent prophecy, as has been given by a man whose track record is so accurate.  And more than that, those who guide me in Spirit are pushing me to action. It is my earnest prayer and greatest hope that the man is wrong.

      My efforts are as before: To neutralize such possibility with counter-acting positive energy in the form of prayer, meditation, and the dynamic use of mental power through the proper use of the imaginative faculties. Most of you have read, heard of, or saw “The Secret,” either on a DVD or on Oprah. Winfry’s show got more emails in response to that show than any other time.

      I believe and know from a life-time of experience that what you see in your mind and hold onto tenaciously you will one day realize. As co-creators with God we have it within our innate, often unrealized, power to do miracles. The imaginative faculties when disciplined and directed are a powerful means to direct energies toward the right outcome. And so it is with helping our nation with united, heart-felt prayers.

      I am writing to ask you to join me in another round of prayers for America. After some sleepless nights, much talking with others whose minds and opinions I respect, I had a dream. It was short and to the point. I had been asking for direction. Here it is:  As I woke from within an atmosphere or sphere of spiritual quietness and peace I sensed and felt the presence of someone in spirit near me. It could have been either Jesus or Saint Germain. It was obvious in this case that for me to know the author was not important. The voice simply said,

“Begin praying immediately. First, pray for seven days straight on a conference phone call. Get as many people to join you as is possible. This is to take immediate action to thwart any possible present or pending negative, physical attacks on America. Secondly, after seven days of praying each day together, pray on your own daily and again, once a week on a conference call. Continue with this condition until you are impressed by us to do otherwise.”

      It is in response to this directive that I am writing. Do I equivocate; am I ambiguous about this request as to its authenticity or reality? Not at all and therefore I am taking this measure. It is very common for my guides to give me such directions, from time to time, for which later I find the reason. When I woke up from this dream, I was greatly relieved emotionally, the worry energy left me and I now had a means of directing my energies constructively and positively and of course, most beneficially for America. But more than that, I knew from the force and words that these were not some nice, passive words but a strong, almost demanding directive as I have received in the past from Above. It was as the voice spoke to me that I was routed out of deep sleep. That is how powerful and forceful it was.

      In addition to what I just wrote, it is this way for me:  I would rather pray and be wrong than to not pray and see an outcome I might have thwarted if I had prayed. Besides, we all know that America is not in the free and clear. She needs more prayer, much more prayer and many praying. Not negative, panic-ridden prayers but visually and emotionally positive charged prayers.

      I  began this condition last night (Tuesday, August 14, 2007) with a small group of people because there was not enough time to get this letter out prior and in compliance with the directive given, I acted. Tonight, Wednesday, August 15, 2007, the condition will continue, being the second night of seven to fulfill the directive. Below is the prayer we are praying and all the instructions you need to join me. At the end of the seven days, ending the night of Monday, August 20, individuals will pray on their own and once week on a conference call on Monday nights. Again the specifics are contained below.

      I want to add that this is the last thing I wanted to do. I have many other things in my work to complete with a considerable number of you waiting for spiritual readings, emails to answer, etc. As you can imagine, with the growing insecurity in our land, my work has picked up proportionately. I could be busy 24/7. But throughout my life I have sought to know God’s will and do it, even when I did not totally understand or even agree; in this way I have risen to be a person of help to others and not a few. Thus, what I am doing in writing this letter is not my idea, it is my response to what I know to be a directive from, at least for a time, the concerned and attending spirit world.

      In closing I want to relay a true, factual story:

During the efforts of the Turks to occupy Cyprus in the Fifties a mystic and a group of would-be mystics did their part to protect Cyprus from the Turks by sending out their prayer/meditation energies to their precious land. The mystic was known as Daskalos and his student, a very advanced soul, Kostas. Kostas was from Famagusta. It is not important as to where this town was located but enough to say that it was a town Kostas had lived in and loved. To keep the story short:  Kostas explains to a couple of his friends how he protected Famagusta during the Turkish occupation. “Many times I would go [to Famagusta] in a state of exomatosis (out of the body) over the city and with my mind I would create a powerful protective umbrella. I used to inject that elemental (thought form) with energy so no one would settle into the city.”

            One of his friends replied, “Well, you have certainly done a great job.” … Out of the entire Turkish-occupied territory Famagusta was left relatively intact. Whereas in every other town and village the Turkish administration had brought and settled into the abandoned Greek homes either Turkish Cypriots or Anatolian Turks, Famagusta remained a ghost town. It remained without inhabitants or life other than Turkish military patrols and light contingents of the United Nations Force in Cyprus. Fire In The Heart, Healers, Sages and Mystics, Kyriacos C.       Here I end my letter. Just know that you are a force for good! Know that when you combine the positive, constructive pictures of your mind with the compassionate feelings of your heart, you are a co-creator with God and you can affect change for the better. When a group of people, knowledgably do the same, together at times and individually, they become a force for great good and can and will change human history for the better. It is on the basis of such action that faith is most fully demonstrated. And it is on the basis of this kind of faith that those in spirit can act most concretely and fully in assisting us in our efforts. This is Philip Burley …

       I want to thank the 70 people who responded to my invitation, in the last ASG Bulletin, to do a special seven day, phone-conference-call-prayer for America and the world. A special thanks also to those who could not be on the call but who took part with a prayer group or by yourself or some other combination of people. I thank all of you.

      I have been asked, by more than a few people, to continue the condition. Your urging me to continue was undeniably compelling. Therefore, I continued and the calls are still going on nightly. In addition to your many requests to continue, the news and information that is still coming in about a potential attack on America also plays a large role in my deciding to go on with the condition. I urge everyone to get as many people as possible praying at this time for America and the world, if not with this ASG prayer group, any prayer group, or on their own. As much prayer as possible is needed.

      The condition is on-going each night up to and including September 11, 2007. Details for participation follow this letter below. [It was later extended beyong September 11.]

      A sampling of Responses tothis project may be found at the bottom of this email. From the many responses that I have received, there is no doubt that there are rational, aware and concerned people all over America and the world regarding the present, heightened potential attack on our land and the need to pray more than ever. Some of you, either during the call or in an email have shared your concerns as having a gut feeling. Some have had dreams and so on.

      As I have already stated a number of times during all of my efforts to solicit prayers for America in the last two years, I am not an alarmist, nor do I seek to motivate either others or myself by fear. And I have never personally received any money for this work. I take the position that any and all prayer is helpful for any worthy cause and that I would rather error on the side of caution then not pray at all.

Thank you for the conference calls you are doing and for the opportunity to serve mankind.  I feel in my 
heart that we are making a difference. I have been having an awakening the past few months that is a new 
experience for me but I know the time for this is right. I have dreams and see visions on the television of 
natural disasters that so far have all have come to pass. I usually see them on TV about a day before they 
happen.  I didn't realize I had been doing this for a long time until that bridge in Minnesota fell.  I dreamed it, 
then 6 hours before it happened I saw it on TV.  I stopped everything and immediately went into deep 
prayer for the people involved.  It wasn't until late that night that I realized what had happened and I went 
back to some journals I had done and from tracking the dates I realized I had watched all of those disasters 
before they happened.  I do not know what this means and at this time I am again journaling everything I see 
and taking time to do intense prayer for all I see. … 

The reason for this long story is that I have had dreams of another attack lately and just when I was asking 
for direction your email was sent to me by [my friend] Dolores. This was the answer I was seeking.
