Dear Friends and Participants,
Your letters with their variable and valuable comments are treasures and testimonies to your spiritual nature and dedication to caring and to the fact that we are being led from on High. In addition, to daily prayers, your communication as posted on this site, is the life-blood for the Awaken the Sleeping Giant prayer condition project. It is a way, not only to be greatly inspired but to also realize that we are not alone in our efforts and that many feel and think the way we do. If there is any common denominator among all the letters, it is deep sincerity in undertaking the task of serving America and the world through continuous daily prayers.
Awaken the Sleeping Giant has gone far beyond the parameters that I had in mind when Jesus asked me to set it in motion. The response has been beyond belief and beyond any response I have ever had to any project I have ever led. Indeed, it has taken on a life of its own.
Thank you for sharing your mind and heart. Just know that, not only do I appreciate your correspondence and stay on fire through them, many other participants are also greatly, personally helped and motivated by your letters. And it doesn’t matter how often you write. This is an on-going exchange of heart energy, whose authorship is not as important as the ‘spirit’ that anyone conveys in his or her letters. It creates the esprit de corps of our work.
I have posted your letters pretty much as they are, editing only here and there. Your personal comments about me I have left in, not because I want the praise, but because they are sincere remarks. Anyone who knows me, knows that I give all credit to God. I know, after this many years, where true success and the energy to be successful comes from and it is not from me!
Additionally, what you see in me, you already have in yourself in potential, on the way, or fully bloomed. God is in all of us equally and it that that I love in all the spiritual family I attempt to serve. We have to all know that Jesus must feel the same way and serves us all out of such respect and love.
We will continue to post new letters as they come in. So keep your letters coming for the sake of the whole, for group inspiration and determination to complete a task that is more than well worthwhile.

Dear Philip,
Please don't worry about the giving up. It is such an honor to be a participant in this prayer condition. I feel uplifted by it and the sincere participation has given my own spiritual life a great boost. The visualization of the white light and the drops of love descending on cities and the country is also affecting our own lives. There is no way anyone sincerely prays for others without getting great benefit from it as well. I find myself driving down the road and visualizing white light to the surroundings or people around me. This is so much more of an awake and aware way of life than just going from one place to another as if on automatic pilot.
I can see that this is not just going to be a prayer condition but a new way of life, a more empowered and positive one where the light within us does not flicker anymore but shines brightly, all the time. The more people do that and maintain that light, the faster God's kingdom on earth will become a reality as all the darkness will be absorbed by the light, naturally.

I just want to thank you for doing the prayer twice a week. That really shows your tremendous commitment to this prayer and it has allowed us to join in synchronous prayer at least once a week, and sometimes even twice a week. I feel honored to be part of your group.

Many masters talk about how limited our language is when trying to communicate in this physical world. I have been having a wonderful experience of personal growth since starting the Sleeping Giant Prayer daily. ... As you began your discussion about the 'finer points' of Jesus' communication to you, I felt my awareness heighten: I knew, before you started speaking about it, that this was something I needed to hear, and yet, I already knew what you were about to say.
As you spoke about the method of healing used by the ancient Greek healer of healing at a distance ... I knew I had somehow received the same communication; I just didn't realize it until you told the story.
The first night I started praying with the prayer condition outlined by Jesus, I instinctively modified it. ... My modification was that I decided the best way for me to connect with Spirit, Jesus, God was to start my prayer with meditation. So ... I did my usual meditation first stating my intention of carrying out Jesus' prayer condition that you outlined. ... Once in a remarkably deep, trance-like state, I instinctively held out my hands (never did that before either) and felt and saw my Spirit soaring over Washington DC. With joy, delight, and happiness in my heart I could (and do each time) see Washington DC, the Mall, Washington Monument, Lincoln and Jefferson memorials, Congress, the White house, pentagon, FBI building and countless memorials and monuments as I soar over the city. I then feel the beautiful cloud of white light that is pouring from me and through me as well as through all the people who are hovering up there with me (yes, there are many!) The drops of rain fall like "diamond-snowflakes" which know right where, and to whom to go. I also 'see' the homes of the many lawmakers and people of power (including the White House) as a part of 'Washington DC' because I know many diplomats and people of power live in the surrounding cities. I then soar higher and 'see' the entire North American continent, including Alaska and Hawaii - then one, by one ... the cities on the list light-up! Brilliant, like stars. Again, I and the others there with me, create a beautiful white light that blankets all of America.
I soar even higher, into space, into 'the Christ-grid', and again, am joined by others - this time, more of those from the Spirit world ... we all hold out our hands and form a corona around Earth as we create and sustain the white light around it - and again, rain diamond-droplets of love. ...
So, Philip, you can imagine how my heart soared, and the tears began to flow (they always do when I hear, feel, see and know truth) when you told about Jesus' communication to you about distance healing. How wonderful that I found this "on my own", through my (and your) Guides, and then had the blissful, earthly validation of same with your communication and prayer tonight. A true miracle: On gossamer wings - beautiful, yet easy to miss!

Thank you for facilitating last night's prayer conference call. It was wonderful. The dedication, love and time that you give this effort is so palpable. You never cease to amaze and inspire me.
I want to share this personal experience with you. I listened with great interest when you were speaking about Jesus' instructions to "pray as Daskalos did" (whom I had never heard of previously). Earlier that evening, while I was doing my Awaken Sleeping Giant prayer visualization, Master Jesus suddenly appeared in my visualization hovering over Washington DC as the source of the light I was seeing. As my attention shifted to visualizing the light over the entire United States he asked me to come and stand at his side and do as he was doing. So you can see, I was greatly moved by your words later that evening.

I was so impressed with your message and agenda on your website I am forwarding it to the Metro Marines here in the Twin Cities as we are all veterans and belong to the American Legion and it will be broadcast to our membership, and hopefully passed on to our active troops. We are all American Patriots and believe me when I say we are always praying for our country and troops. ... This country was founded by very Godly people who got us on the right track early in our history. Most of our leaders throughout our history have used prayer and used their beliefs in making great decisions for 274 years. It sickens me to see how some minorities want to take God out of everything in our government. This country has been richly blessed by God for a long time and I believe this country will not survive without God's blessing.
I try to pray and meditate for the first hour of every day and will include you and your message from Jesus in my daily prayers for healing of this great land . If you would, please include me in your membership and make sure I get on your mailing list.
I believe this is the end of a millennium and the beginning of the great earth changes, and new millennium as so noted in the book of revelations. ... I wanted to share what I experienced today as I did the prayer intention as you instructed for the first time.
As I was first imaging the white light energy above Washington DC, I immediately saw Jesus risen above the world and there was an intense white light of drops (they felt like teardrops, instead of raindrops) coming from his heart and I saw His white light going through the hearts of everyone around the world who is joining in this prayer intention and radiating out upon the planet, and what He said to me is, "My prayers are even more powerful when amplified through the hearts of so many around the world," and that He is praying with us! I had not thought of that in such a specific way, I had not thought that He was actually, specifically praying with us. What an amazing, humbling, uplifting image this was, and it felt so REAL.

I just want to assure you of the value of your prayer sessions on Wed. and Thurs. This past Wed. we were to call a relative at 7pm MST for an update on my husband's sister who is in the hospital. We even called at 6:45pm but her line was busy. That is the reason you heard a "bing" of me calling in at about 7:10pm.
The condition is going fine. As you originally said, I also, at the end [of my prayer] specify prayer for the participants of this condition (yes, we are all prayed for when we pray for the world, but I want to do this), and I add prayer specifically for you all.

I don't usually share very much of my experience but the prayer for America is changing my life too. It is not with others that I have challenges, it is with my self, face to face: I see my negative ego, my resistance and my weaknesses that I am learning to let go of each day since the prayer. I can see them and I don't let guilt take a hold of me. Praying is developing me continually and it gives me the discipline that I have to bring more in my life. I choose more and more love. Godly Greetings to you. I was unable to get through on Wed, but what I did do was contact Silent Unity and prayers for World Peace will be prayed for 30 days and I'll call the 21st of every month to update for another 30 days - so prayers for peace will continue. The day after Thanksgiving I light a "Christ Candle" and keep it burning 24 hours a day. I've put a beautiful picture of an angel holding the Earth and each time I go by the candle or see a flicker I take a breath a send a blessing in the air. I'll keep this Christ Candle burning throughout this time of prayer work. Peace be unto you dear Philip and all the connections and interconnections you and the Almighty make.

I have been praying from the southern hemisphere, not just for the sleeping giant of the US but for the awakening giant of the American continent.
I am in Iguazu Falls right now. This is sacred land for the Gauranies, the energy is powerful and Mother Nature is at her best. I had a powerful experience at Isla San Martin today, tears streaming down my face while my MAYAN brain went into high gear downloading the energy matrix that surrounds this wonderful place.

.. I am still very excited to be participating in a mission that is so vitally important to the spiritual well-being of our country. I have been well-aware for quite some time that many people seem to be sleeping, even though they may appear to be awake. This has caused me to feel a great deal of frustration wondering what could be done to try and shake people out of their stupor. Over the past several months the feeling of urgency.....of needing to do something before it's too late, has continued to grow. I know that this mission has come both as an answer to my prayers, and as a challenge to help wake up America.

I've learned in my relationship with the Holy Spirit, that if we are being called upon to participate in a prayer mission such as the one you have been asked to lead....then our country must be approaching a narrow bridge over an abyss. I have been doing the meditation daily and am finding that there is a peace-filled and expansive "tone" to me when I am engaged in it. That feeling -- a subtle yet very "solid" feeling -- returns to me, without my creating it, often during the day. The subtlety of the feeling is very warming and assuring. I am quite amazed by that continuous, uplifting feeling. It seems to buoy up everything else in a quiet way. Perhaps that is one of the gifts of love!

I just wanted to share about a moment in last night’s phone meeting: As you were praying, a smile came across my face, as I took in your steadfast spirit and reliable service to the Father throughout all these years. Your prayers are as lovely as if someone spent days preparing just the right words, and polishing it just so, yet the beauty is...it is just you! You are such a natural, and your heart is so connected to Source, that such sentiments simply come out of you!!
I also wept, for the analogy of Abraham's plea to the Father IS so similar to the position we are in today. The gravity of our situation was (is) palpable.
I just wanted to send some feedback on your fine efforts. As our friend St. Germain might say..."keep on keeping on!!"

Thank you, dear Philip, for such a beautiful talk followed by a joyful exchange last night.
I am glad that you added the "protect" part to the prayer. The reality is that there are many angry people who are praying for the destruction of America. I have read that after the onslaught of hurricanes last year, some people were rejoicing and saying that this was the answer to their prayers as they prayed that America may be destroyed. This is the power of their intent. So, in truth, America is being assaulted by a lot of powerful negative energy. The power of prayer and visualization [with these same people] is real, unfortunately in the negative too.
How can we succeed then, to turn this energy battle into a good outcome for the nation: I see only one way: [through] the power of positive prayer and visualization—by those who pray for the protection and prosperity of this nation—has to be stronger than then the ones who pray for its demise.
It's not a battle with bullets and warships. It is coming down to a battle of the light against the darkness. All of us are bearers of light. And we have a mission to shine our light as brightly as we can through our sincere prayers, meditations and visualizations.
In fact, we do not have to "fight" the darkness, when the light shines strongly, the darkness will dissipate naturally, on its own. That is why, the more people [who] participate, the better. The more who visualize with a clear intent, the better. (I am thinking of the "Power of Intention” by Wayne Dyer when I use the word "intent").
Thank you again for initiating all this and being a rallying point for all those of us who wish to help.

Just a quick note to thank you for taking the initiative for this prayer effort. For the first time in my spiritual journey, I've come to understand the power of a collective effort on an "invisible" level.
In all honesty, I struggle to clear my psyche to participate in sending light and love, but when I do, I find that the experience introduces new perspectives of hope and possibilitiy for healing our planet (all of us included).

It was a pleasure to speak to you last week and join you in prayer twice last week. I can’t always do it twice a week, but I have joined once a week since the prayer began. I have to say, Philip, that I am always in awe at your eloquence. Your talks are so meaningful and inspirational, and your prayers are so beautiful and powerful. You really were hand-picked by Master Jesus for this job.
I continue to pray daily and my commitment to the prayer group is to still have my spiritual group and friends join me every Wednesday for meditation, and then we join your call.
Also, ... I want to forward the text of the “invitation page” from your website to our local metaphysical bookstore. They have an electronic mailer they send out every week. Your website says we needed to get your permission, so I am asking for your permission.

Dear Philip:
During last week's Conference Call I felt the Presence of Jesus quite strongly. I started feeling goose bumps and light chills and then heard telepathically, "I am here, dear one." Tears welled up in my eyes.
I carefully restrained myself from sniffling into the phone. He said nothing further to me, but I felt He was coming not only to me, but to each one of us, in order to convey His love and support in what we were collectively doing.

When I was in India in late 2004, I was visited in spirit and asked not to give up on America so I returned. I could have stayed in India for the rest of my natural life.
