Purpose of the Prayer Project

First, I wanted to welcome everyone to this Awaken the Sleeping Giant conference call. Tonight’s conference call is being taped and will be transcribed and sent to each one of you by email. It will also be available at www.AwakenSleepingGiant.org.

Thus far, responses to my invitation to join in the Awaken Sleeping Giant prayer condition have come from all over the United States and the world, including Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Austria, Spain, England, Australia, Malaysia, China, and Japan. Presently more than 200 people have signed up and the number is increasing daily.

Opening Prayer

I’d like to have you join me in opening prayer.

Our Heavenly Father, as we stand with our minds poised, looking over this great land of the United States of America, we would ask your presence with us and over us to fulfill a divine mandate. Father, this country is in a situation today where people are divided in a significant way, and many people are asking what’s going to happen with this nation. We know, ultimately, that it is in your hands. But you must have the cooperation of willing, intelligent, loving spiritual people to awaken this nation to its present plight and our individual and unified responsibility for a spiritually elevated and prosperous America. And with that cooperation—with diligence towards responsibility—changes can be made.

I ask that you bless everyone who is involved in this endeavor, that we can stir the consciousness of many people and enable them to feel that responsibility; that the America that we know may not slumber and miss its high calling as a leading nation, as a model for the world.

Father, so as to guarantee the safety of this nation, we seek to pray for it, with many other prayers from many other quarters, to protect it and guide it; and to bring it to a better and safer time. Bless all those who are a part of this endeavor, as we join in mind and heart to bring about an awakening in ourselves first, and in turn, in others. We thank you for this responsibility, and we pray and ask all of this in the Christ spirit, and in divine love. Amen.

To Feel Our Unity

To get a feel for unity, I’d like everyone just to speak out your name and your city, where you’re from, and do it three times, when I count to three. You won’t hear each other; that’s not the point. This will unite us into a oneness and like the trumpets that were blown by Joshua at Jericho that brought the walls of Jericho down, thus with the sound of our united voices, we will begin the process of awakening the sleeping giant starting in you and me. So, on three, just say your name and your city three times. One, two, and three… [Participants say the names of their cities in unison].

You are the privileged ones who responded, whom God and Jesus and other spirit masters have their eyes upon and have hope in, with many other people who are praying for this nation. So I want to thank all of you for doing this. And because of your heart of love for this nation and the world, and duty or the spirit of volunteerism, you will be greatly supported from above and receive many blessings during and after this experience.

You’ve joined an elite circle of people whose intention is to make a positive difference in America today, and therefore, in the America of tomorrow. So wear this distinction with pride and give all credit to God. Our numbers will grow, and together we will make a difference.

Purpose of the Conference Call

What’s the purpose of this conference call? Well first of all, be sure and go to our website under the button on the website labeled "Your Responses," and see a sampling of your many responses. They’re very inspiring. And without all of you, none of this can happen. The conference call can give us a live, united spirit in all this.

The call is to initiate a live contact as well as a rallying point for our hearts and minds to center on. The call is to help us to individually and collectively catch a common vision and have a common goal. This will help us to carry out this vision and reach our goals, keeping in touch and giving us a chance to stay together in real time, as opposed to only through the internet or emails.

As you know, there’s strength in numbers. So if more and more people join us, by our uniting our energies in a conscious way through telephone conferencing, it can strengthen all of us, and it can cause the effort we’re making to be effective.

Someone wrote in an e-mail, "Thank God we have all the little puzzle pieces to do. We couldn’t do it all by ourselves, could we?" And that’s very, very true. We all hold a little puzzle piece of America, and putting them together, we can make the whole picture. And together we can be stronger.

Practical Considerations for Success in What We Are Doing.

1. There are practical considerations [for establishing success in what we are doing in this prayer condition]. If there are others joining, please have them contact me. I have to keep track of the numbers as the service we are using only allows 250 people per conference call.
2. Also, it would be a good idea for everyone if you could, or you would desire to, to contact ten other people to inform them of this experience, that they may join, because there are many, many Americans—and I talk to them all the time—who are very much wanting to do something; are wanting to add their energies and make a difference.

4. In doing anything like a prayer condition, the big thing is always to remember to remember, in spiritual discipline. It’s the hardest thing, to remember to remember. We all make a plan, we all make a pledge to do this or that in life, and then we forget. Something else gets in the way. So it’s always vital that we remember to remember. First, please remember to remember that you are not committed to me, in doing this condition. You are committed to God, Jesus, the people of the United States, the world and yourself. As you give out, so you get back.
5. And another thing, really know that when you pray, your prayers are heard and acted on by God, without question. The more sincere you are, the more you can propel your prayer energy out, and the easier it is for them to act upon it.
6. Additionally, in this practical section on the telephone conferencing call, I’ll ask you to please share your experiences by email. We will post them on the internet so everyone can see what’s happening, what kind of experiences people are having.
7. If you have a dream—some of you have told me about your dreams of America—some have seen various things happening in America, then please share these dreams with us via email. These are very important for people to catch a vision as to why they’re praying, and what possibilities lie ahead of us. And I’m not talking just about the detrimental things, but also the blessings that are to come to America.
8. If you want you may also send your picture via email, and we can post it beside your comments. That will help others know that the effort toward Awakening the Sleeping Giant is very much involved with human beings, not just anonymous people but real faces in real places. [I would very much like to post your picture on the site also as a testimony to new people who come across our site as to the fact that our efforts are taken seriously and responsible others are involved. You may want to include your occupation as well, which adds another element of interest to future readers of our site.]
9. Also, please send me your home mailing address because, from time to time, I want to send things to you in the mail.
10. Pray for each other; we’re all spiritual warriors and we need mutual support.
11. Pray for yourself. That is, when you do this prayer, which, as I’ve written it, from Jesus, "includes praying for yourself." And while you’re praying, you’ll notice gradually, as many people have noticed who have taken up prayer seriously on a daily basis, improvements in your life. You’ll see things happening in the conditions of your life from day to day for the better. Even miracles!

The Sleeping Giant Prayer as Directed by Jesus

I would like to go over the Awaken the Sleeping Giant prayer with you.

1. The approach that we’re taking with this prayer is that it is a condition. Someone wrote me and said, "What is it when you say, ‘It’s a prayer condition?’": Anytime you pray, it’s a prayer condition, because your prayer is like leaven in bread. It takes a little bit of leaven in bread to cause it to rise. Just a small amount results in a great and enlarged result in the bread dough. In the case of our prayers, we do our small part and, in response, Heaven will act upon our prayers to produce most of the results and the right outcome over time. In the case of our prayers to Awaken the Sleeping Giant, we are combining our prayer energy in the form of the White Light over Washington, D.C., the major cities of the U.S. (as found in the written prayer), the White Light over the United States, and over the world. With this individual and accumulative energy, Heaven can act, doing their part to answer our prayers. So that’s what we mean when we say it’s a prayer condition. We do our part (the smaller part) and they do their part (the larger part).
2. Further, our prayers, again, according to what Jesus told me, are to be prayers of love to heal, to uplift, and to dissolve negativity.
3. Our prayers are not to be prayers for political reasons. That is one thing Jesus emphatically did not want. It’s not a finger-pointing prayer; it’s not to address leadership issues or how America is being led. It is to be prayers spoken with love for the purpose of loving [to uplift, dissolve negativity, heal and awaken] all people equally in America.
   Speaking again of the guidance Jesus gave, "Love is the highest energy in the universe. Love heals and balances energy when nothing else can. Keep this in mind and let your prayers be simple and filled with love. Nothing more is requested and nothing more is needed than this method of prayer for this condition."
4. The most important four things I mentioned in a previous mailing are:
   1. Be consistent when you pray. Otherwise, neither you nor God will take you seriously. Do you trust people who make promises but don’t keep them? Do you take them seriously?
   2. Surrender the American people (and the world) and your own life to God. Face reality as it is. Don’t attempt to gloss it over, either your life or the life of our nation. When you speak the truth, it will make for freedom. So surrender also means to give up falsehood for truth. Let us not pretend or bury our head in the sand regarding our life or our nation’s life. It is what it is, and when you turn it over to God, there is opportunity for a new and a more elevated life. That is what God does with surrendered lives. Energy can be neither created nor destroyed; it can only be transformed. Surrendering the energy of life to God makes loving, positive transformation possible.
   3. Be positive when you pray. Sometimes when people get into praying, they get into the down side of prayer, using it as a means to judge or criticize others. Whereas, we need positive and affirming prayers with great, unstoppable faith that our prayers are being heard and that God is acting upon them and bringing about positive changes. The kind of energy we put out is the energy we receive back.
   4. Watch for signs following. Watch how, after you start praying, things appear on your path or come into your awareness. There will be sure indications in your life and our country as signs following our individual and collective prayers.

Just this morning after I finished praying and meditating, I picked up the Bible and I just said to myself, "Okay, I’m going to open the Bible this morning and just see where it falls in relationship to all that I’m doing in praying for America. And it fell open at Psalm 68, verse 4. I read up to verse 10, and it says:

Sing to God, sing praise to his name. Extol him who rides the clouds—his name is the Lord—and rejoice before him. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families, he leads forth the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.

When you run out before your people, O God, when you marched through the wasteland, the earth shook, the heavens poured down rain, before God, the one of Sinai, before God, the God of Israel.

You gave abundant showers, O God; you refreshed your weary inheritance

Your people settled in it, and from your bounty, O God, you provided for the poor."

As you can see, this bible reading parallels the prayer in which we are showering down droplets of love. Out of all bible scripture how did this one show up? And so it was a sign following for me, as to how we are in the right place at the right time, and that God was showing me that this is so with this bible reading. In my life, I have found that the more I look for signs of God’s leading, the more they appear.

Praying the Prayer to Awaken the Sleeping Giant

I’m going to go over the prayer. I’m going to actually pray it. First of all, each day I read out the mission statement for Awaken the Sleeping Giant of the United States of America.

Mission Statement

I understand that Jesus has asked for special prayer for America. To comply with his request, I have volunteered to be a prayer channel—ideally once a day for three months—for God to radiate through me unconditional, loving, healing energies to all Americans of the United States. It is not my responsibility to determine the outcome of my prayers. In faith, I leave the outcome in the hands of God.

A Starting Meditation to Set Intent and Attunement

I would like to have a little meditation with you before I do the prayer, as suggested in my mailing.

Let us just attune ourselves from our hearts in love. Feel the presence of God in you and all around you and the support we have from Jesus and others who are here.

Imagine yourself surrounded with white light and filled with white light. And breathe it in.

Now relax in this love that you are already.

Feel yourself from your heart being filled even more with love for all people.

Think about what we are doing: setting your intention, intending to pray this prayer with the understanding that it is being heard, and it will be acted upon, and that there is strength in numbers, and we are producing greater quantities of prayer energy, than if we were doing this by ourselves.

Prayer to Awaken the Sleeping Giant

1. Dear Heavenly Father, I visualize in front of me our nation’s capital, the capital of Washington, D.C., and I see in my mind the radiation of white light spanning over and above the whole city. And I imagine that from this white light is raining down droplets of love, countless numbers of droplets of love, across the whole city, upon all the people; on leaders and followers alike. And I continue to visualize and send this energy forth, to have its loving effect upon Washington, D.C. and all of its people.
2. Dear Heavenly Father, I now pray for the major cities of the United States. I place my hand upon the cities provided, and I call out the name of each one of them before you:
   
   Albany, Annapolis, Atlanta, Augusta, Baltimore, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Bismarck, Boise, Boston, Bridgeport, Carson City, Chicago, Columbus, Concord, Colorado Springs, Dallas, Denver, Des Moines, Detroit, Dover, Frankfurt, Harrisburg, Hartford, Helena, Honolulu, Houston, Indianapolis, Jackson, Jacksonville, Jefferson City, Juneau, Lansing, Las Vegas, Lincoln, Little Rock, Los Angeles, Louisville, Memphis, Miami, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Mobile, Montgomery, New Orleans, New York City, Newark, Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Raleigh, Sacramento, Salem, San Antonio, San Francisco, Santa Fe, Savannah, Seattle, Springfield, St. Louis, Tallahassee, Tampa, Topeka, Trenton, Tucson, Virginia Beach, Wichita, Wilmington.
   
   Dear God, I now visualize a radiating white light spanning over and above all of these cities. I imagine, in faith, the pouring down of droplets of love upon each city and upon all of its people, affecting a change in all the hearts, bringing about healing, bringing about whatever it is you want to bring in each person, strengthening everyone, awakening everyone.
3. And now, Father, I turn toward our nation. And I visualize or imagine a radiating white light, spanning over and above the nation, from east to west, from north to south, including Alaska and Hawaii. And from this light, I visualize or imagine the raining down of countless drops of love on all the people of the United States. I see masses and masses and masses of drops of love from your heart, Father, falling upon our people to protect, to uplift, to inspire, to educate, to heal, to awaken all of them, or whatever you want to do with this energy of love.
4. And now, Father, I place my hand on the world, (either in my mind or on a map or a globe.) And I visualize or imagine a cloud of white light over the world, from which is raining down droplets of your love on all the people in all nations, bringing healing and unity; bringing peace throughout the world.
5. Heavenly Father, I affirm that my prayer has been heard, that your love and your energy combined with what we have given, awakens, heals and makes a difference in the world. All this I pray and ask in the Christ spirit, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
   Having just completed the prayer, this is an example of how I pray this prayer as guided by Jesus.

Closing Comments

Thank you all for your love, your response and participation. And remember to stir the sleeping giant within yourself first. And then you are becoming the advanced spiritual person you always wanted to be by doing this prayer condition consistently.

As they say, pray as if everything depended on God, and act as if everything depends on you. And watch for the signs following. Remember to remember, and keep the promise.
